Hi all,and welcome to my new website.
My name is Alan,or for the many of you that
already know me,Perks.
I have been a snooker development coach for many years now and feel very privileged
to find myself in the position I am in today,
through Mark,Neil and others.
Ever since I first started coaching,the day
I met Mark,my life on the whole has been
wonderful.
Since that day I have met and coached so many nice boys and girls and got to know
many mums and dads of whom I have much
admiration.
When I am not at main tour competitions
with Mark and Neil,you will find me at lots
of amateur or junior events,or travelling up
and down the country coaching males and
females who have a great desire to better
their game.
Having also studied sports psychology for
3 years,I am able to teach all my pupils the
mental strengths required,together with
improving their technique,break-building
and tactical awareness.
I was also fortunate enough to be chosen
as the England Junior International Team
Coach in both 2003 and 2004,an honour
that I will never forget.
All that remains for me to say is thanks
very much for visiting the site,and if you run
into me at any event,please come and say hi,and to all those aspiring to becoming a
champion,like Mark and Neil,practise very
hard,be very dedicated,and I will see you all
very soon,

the Masters twice and Neil winning the
World Championship.

Highfield and Sam Craigie.
